Quercus macrocarpa x robur 'Clemons' This hybrid with English
oak (Quercus robur) is a vigorous grower, unusual for an oak. It has a straight
central leader broad with pyramidal growth that becomes an oval tree to 80 feet
tall and 50 feet wide. It offers attractive foliage that is dark green, glossy
and resistant to mildew and tearing in the wind. Has the ability to withstand
wind and ice without breakage, and its extreme winter hardiness. Fall color is
yellow.
